General Rules (All Models)

Universal tips for aurora photography

Ignore MM/EV

Metering doesn't work for aurora – trust your settings and histogram

Use Histogram

Don't trust the preview – histogram is your best friend

Hover 5–10 sec

Let the drone stabilize completely before capturing

Shoot Series

Take 10–20 photos per location for best results

Stability > Altitude

A stable hover matters more than maximum height

Check Wind

Fly in calm conditions – wind causes blur on long exposures
